1. Who we are
D-Promos is a fictitious business name (DBA) registered in California, United States. D-Promos is responsible for the data collected through this website, the D-Promos platform, and the D-Promos player app for Android (the "App").
2. Data we collect on our website and platform
We collect name, email address, phone number, company name, and service usage information. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data the App collects
The App runs on screens in businesses and has no user accounts. It collects data about the device, not about the people in the store: (a) a device identifier (Android ID) used to register and recognize the screen; (b) device details: manufacturer, model, Android version, app version, screen resolution, storage, time zone, and power settings; (c) the device name set by its owner; (d) the device's local network IP address; (e) operational logs and diagnostics: playback status, errors, and, when diagnostic mode is on, battery, memory, storage, and connection type; (f) proof-of-play records: which content played, when, and for how long; (g) a push notification token from Google Firebase Cloud Messaging; (h) the identifier and name of Bluetooth buttons paired to the screen; and (i) if the business turns on virtual queues, the ticket numbers called. Ticket numbers do not identify a person.
4. What the App does not collect
The App does not read or store your location. Android requires the location permission only to scan for nearby Bluetooth buttons. The App does not access the camera, microphone, contacts, messages, or advertising ID, and it does not take screenshots.
5. How we use data
We use data to: (a) provide and improve the service; (b) register the screen, deliver its content, and turn it on and off on schedule; (c) verify ad plays for our customers' reports and billing; (d) detect and fix failures and send remote commands to the screen; (e) keep the service secure; (f) send communications related to your account; and (g) comply with legal obligations.
6. Service providers
We use Sentry to receive error reports, which include the device identifier and technical details, and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging to send messages to the screen. The content a business schedules may load from servers it chooses; those servers receive the device's IP address. We share proof-of-play reports with the business that owns the screen.
7. Security and retention
Data travels to our servers over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Data stored on the device is deleted once our servers receive it. We keep device data while the device is registered with the service, and as long as we need it for billing, support, or legal obligations.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies to measure performance. You can disable analytics cookies from your browser.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to the processing of your data. To delete a screen's data, uninstall the App and send us the device name to info@d-promos.com.
10. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 13.

We will publish any change to this policy on this page and update the date at the top.
